For shipments using Ground Transportation in the United States, also known as DOT, and/or Air Transportation, also known as ICAO. Fulfills US DOT and International Law Training Requirements.

49CFR Training is required for shippers who prepare dangerous goods shipments for highway transit using the 49CFR regulations. IATA Training is required for any hazmat employee who needs to understand how to use the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). This includes: Shipping personnel who prepare and sign the shipping papers for air transport, Personnel responsible for classifying hazardous product, and anyone else who meets the definition of a "hazmat employee" and who needs to understand how to read and interpret the IATA Air Regulations.

The 3-Day Initial course for ground and air shipments is designed for basic shippers, freight forwarders, third party logistics entities, carriers and freight brokers. Topics covered include the relationships between IATA/ICAO and 49CFR including all topics covered in the 2-Day IATA & 49CFR Initial classes. Prior 49CFR certification is highly recommended as this is a fast paced course. If you do not have prior 49CFR certification you should consider the  4 day IATA/49CFR class.
